Pretty insane. Oink has been raided and the owner has been arrested.
Oink was a really neat tracker. It was apparently fast, clean and super easy. Apparently it was the biggest private bittorrent tracker. Around 180k users. That is a lot of dedicated users.
It taught a bunch of people I know about bittorrent. It was used [...]

Legally of course.
But everyday I am discovering new music and listening to interesting artists. The internet is awesome. I can’t really imagine what it would be like without it. I mean, I am able to think to myself “I would like to learn about classical music” and find a place that is offering an entire [...]

It has been a week, and I am still reveling in how much fun we had. Lollapalooza has always been really fun. I have enjoyed going to the shows since I started in 92. There were a few rough spots here and there (I.e. after 98) but lollapalooza has turned out to be an amazing [...]

My buddy Todd sent me a Frank Zappa interview and from that I ended up watching another, much longer, frank zappa interview. It is from the Dick Cavett show on June 12, 1980.
Check out part one. Where Frank Zappa talks about the history of punk rock and how new wave is interesting. He [...]

So the other day I was at home with my parents and my grandfather. We were passing the time and decided to watch a movie. I picked one of my favorite movies, O Brother Where Art Thou, because I love it and I thought my grandfather would enjoy it. He did. We all watched it and [...]

I love metal. Seriously. I love it. And metal concerts are always full of the most interesting experiences. However - the last couple shows I have been to I haven’t really been into it. I remember back in the day when Matiss and I went to go see Dimmu Borgir and how awesome it was. [...]

First off - this is the most amazing music video i have ever seen. There is very little hyperbole in that statement. And since jacob has shown me that music video, i have been listening to muse like a madman. Such a funny video. Amazing.
Second - i made this website that aggregates hiromi and my [...]

So vh1 is doing “metal month” for may. This may be better than shark week! wtf. I didn’t think there was a possibility for something better on TV than shark week.
Check it out. Awesome. Best thing on television ever.
