2009 was an awesome year. A lot of amazing things happened in the world of hosting (and a lot happened in the world of Harper too). Being a crazy hosting aficionado, I will summarize my thoughts on hosting in 2009 (I will leave the predictions for 2010).
Disclaimer: I am paid money by Rackspace to think [...]

Man. This really gets my goat.
I have always had an interest in accessibility of technology by people who are differently abled, but i usually concentrated on seniors and children. It never occurred to me the challenges that a deaf person would have interacting with mobile phones and all that (I mean – i was aware [...]

Being an iSync freakout, I love syncing my contacts. I LOVE being able to bring in contacts from all my [...]

A couple weeks ago Google released Google talk gadget that allowed group chatting. This was super weird since the flash based gadget has totally blown [...]

So my name is harper. It isn’t a very common name, so I have always had luck with being pretty high ranked in the results when a person searches for my full name “harper reed,” but when you search for my first name I am often beat out by such “cultural giants” as ben harper, harpers [...]

For some reason my google talk is broken for my person gmail account. It doesn’t log me in while i am in gmail, or gaim, or even using their gtalk client. Its really weird – because if i log in using another account – it works fine. But if i log in using my primary [...]
