hmmm….

today, my girlfriend and I have decided to break up. It wasn’t the best of situations for each other…. So after fourteen wonderful months together we are separating amicably. it was the only choice that allowed for us to maintain health and happiness. at least in our current situation.

However.. now I am a little lost.. I don’t know what to do or to say.. I type these words and …

LOTR ruled

So today my parents came to visit me. How nice it is to finally have something to do. My girlfriend is away again - off to see her parents. Alas, I wish I could be with her. Today we walked around, at at shoddy resturants and went and saw one of the best movies of all time. Lord Of The Rings. Boy oh Boy was it ever entertaining. It was very long, but I was able to handle it - in fact every…

The weather…

Awhile ago, when I first started dating my girlfriend a friend of mine used to allude to my relationship with her as the weather. He would say “hey harper, how is the weather” and per the current situation I would tailor the response. Well, my humble audience: the weather is great. In all situations… The actual weather and my girlfriend. Eveything is nice and smooth and fun. I enjoy it. It is l…

I recently came back from a nice little vacation. My girlfriend and myself have dated a little over one year recetnly and we had a nice weekend together. It was quite something. To experience all the things we have experienced together. To have a best friend be the same person you love and adore. To have all of those feelings be reciprocated. Boy howdy I enjoy it. hehe. Well, I got her a nice sur…

Juggling Festival and the magical mysterious…

This weekend was a good time. I juggled and yoyoed and gained a bunch of inspiration to find and make new yoyo/diabolo tricks. I found a whole new way to yoyo. Lovely. It was quite strange, I met while juggling, a friend of a friends that just happened to be the proprietor of a web site I used to frequent. weird.I also was able to see my girlfriend. Imagine, just 12 months ago I was pineing …

Almost there

This past weekend my girlfriend came, it was great. I had a wonderful wonderful time. Another two weeks and it will be one year. A year is a long time, like k*star said this morning, “a year has one of eveything in it.” I never realized it - but it is true. Together we have been through almost everything. how nice. I enjoy it so so much. Walking last night, we found one of

Early in the morning

So. Today has been great so far. My girlfriend is visiting later, I have a BIG meeting and presentation for work in a couple hours. and to top it all off, while I was reading my favorite new source, I noticed this article which linked to my website. It is rather ex…

Anniversary

Today I saw the band Anniversary. They were interesting. Not really as good as I thought. It is weird when you go see a lot of bands that you listen to often ? I feel I know every lick, every lyric and every guitar riff, and when the band does something creative in concert it annoys me. Luckily with bands like modest mouse, the creativity is very solid ? and with built to spill, they were right o…

A long absence for a lot to think about

I was away for awhile. I was making a couple of new websites, watership.org, Cornellstudent.org and soon fukung.net. I will soon do the unveiling. I am excited. Meanwhile I miss my girlfriend alot. I also discovered a cool bar called the Prodig…

10 Months and the long drive ahead…

So my girlfriend and myself have been dating 10 months. That is a real long time for me. I mean it is nothing compared to some lucky peoples marriage, but it is like 80% of a year, 304 days, a little over 1 million seconds(i think :)). So anyway, i am excited to go and see her at college. Hopefully all goes well and i get to go visit. I miss her terribly. My only solace is in my second bes…
