Wow, this is a great review. I typically lug around 2-3 books in my bag to work because I like to read, but also because I like to mix it up. That said, there's something tangible about feeling a page and turning it. Maybe I'm just old. I'm not quite ready for a kindle yet. Also the idea that my book needs to be constantly recharged is a bit of a turn off.

Thanks for the review, I had been wondering about the user experience. I think it means a lot that you switched it up reading the first book and found the experiency equally enjoyable. I can see the Kindle has being nice at night too - turning those pages laying in bed is so hard. Ah, so lazy.

That would be very awesome. I have toyed with how to do this. I think one way would be to generate a PDF or something of X articles in the unread stream of google reader feeds and then email it to your kindle every morning.

It would be really awesome to have google reader hooked well into the kindle. I will look into it.

My dream app for the Kindle is one that would take my unread feeds in Google Reader, turn them into reasonably well-formatted Kindle files, and deliver them to the Kindle, ideally automatically like those newspaper subscriptions you can buy from Amazon. Also it should sync back to Google Reader to mark items as read, sync tags, starred items, etc. If you built this app I would think that you were a very kewl dude.
