Meanwhile, you should check out Ronin, which is probably the only Frank Miller graphic novel I wish someone would make into a good movie, but in fact it'll probably be fucked up for the big screen at some point. It sidesteps the majority of his stereotypical and testosterone-deluded crap and actually does a good techno/fantasy/futurism thing. Search out a post on the blog gravestmor for some good commentary. But uh, yeah. 300 was so one-note that it never really went anywhere!
