i read about wesabe a while back... i'm still a bit scared of this kind of thing. sorta for the same reason that old people are scared of using credit cards on websites - dammit.

i mean, i am comfortable viewing my bank information on my bank's website. but it seems a bit too low scale to have the lead developer of a site managing my finances to be posting comments on our blogs.

i dunno. i feel i have my finances fairly under control and managed... but as anyone else, i feel they could be better.

i like web 2.0 stuff just as much as the next guy, but with my money... i feel like i trust corporate more than trend.

I tried using Wesabe sometime last year but for some reason almost all of my bank statement transactions were detected as Albertson's purchases -- weird since that grocery store doesn't exist here. After reading your blog post I tried again today and was able to successfully dump all of my 2007 data into it. Sweet.

Yes! I started using Wesabe a few months back and I love it too, I even blogged about it. Since I am a personal banker I see the value of having an easy way to teach others about managing finances!

Thanks, Harper, that's awesome! I'm really glad it's working for you. My co-founder and I started the company full-time right after I returned from my honeymoon, so you're right in line with where I was when we were developing the site.

If you run across anything you want added or changed, please let us know. And thanks again!
