I love to twitter, but I rarely have time for it. I wrote this program so I could quickly write a twitter post with only a few keystrokes. You should check it out.

http://blueshirtstudio.net/index.php/Quick_Twitter

It is open source too.

I really love the idea of having it update your im status, I started working on it but didn't get to far. I was having trouble setting the status while not away. The only way I could work with the oscar protocol was through the oscar plugin for perl. Of course that is not an option because its hard to distribute perl on non linux boxes. Its really out dated too.

Well anyway,
I would love to see you get this working, I think it would be a hit in the Twitter community.

So is this Gaim plugin going to happen? That would give me a reason to actually use Twitter... (otherwise, Twitter has seemed pretty useless to me so far)

I like TwApp. Images don't work though. Also, the word "is" after the name is a bit distracting as it doesn't always fit. Also, the number of allow characters if significantly reduced from 160 to 85. Look forward to future versions. Keep up the nice work.
